Leisure Arts Easy-Does-It Swedish Weave Towels Victoria Stitchery ePattern- Traditional Swedish Weaving is also known as huck weaving. This weave became popular in America in the 1940’s when crafters used embroidery floss to decorate the borders of huck towels. Today, Swedish Weave stitching can also be used to make table runners, afghans, pillows, placemats, and more. Use with 100% cotton Huck toweling, an easily recognized fabric commonly sold by the yard with both horizontal and vertical floating threads that run throughout the fabric. Running pearl cotton under these floats allows you to create designs on the front that do not show up on the back. 6 pages, PDF download.
